Alex Reisfar is a Portland, Oregon based painter. His rendering and narrative skills are surprising for such a young painter. At first glance, one would think the talent and insights are that of a far more mature artist. A free spirit, Reisfar states that “The unfulfilled search for definition is an intentional effort on his part and one of the recurrent themes found in his works.” He often uses found objects, or wood pieces to frame these deeply personal and original works. He was an artist in residence at the John Natsoulas Gallery in 2012 and is a member of the Davis Mural Team. His work was featured in Submerge Magazine, Issue 155, in 2014, and are in numerous collection and outsider exhibitions in California and Oregon.
